A unique tradition to Malaysia culture is and one best moments in Malaysia is undoubtly the 30 days that follows the celebration of Hari Raya Buka Puasa (the celebration day that mark the end of the month of Ramadan).
During 30 days, houses, companies, organisations invite families and friends to celebrate the “Open House” where all together will share delicious meals with a large variety. It looks lake you can taste favourite dishes from all Malaysian states in one months.
You can find large open houses with thousand of guests (actually it is open, you can just jump in), or smaller one in the neighbourhoods.
Like other companies, at MY Evolution, we keep this lovely Malaysian tradition and celebrate Hari Raya Open House every year with our team and some guests.
At this occasions, each one bring “something” they prepared or bought and share it with the team. Some of us that have talent that goes beyond can even cook directly from the office kitchen.
This year Rene, our Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer kindly cooked a renowned Thai dish: “Tom Kha Kai” or “Thai coconut soup” which is a spicy and sour hot soup with coconut milk in Thai cuisine.
